Hi! My name is Ed Mei and I'm a sophomore studying Information Science at Cornell University. I grew up in Palo Alto, California, so I know what the middle and high school years are like here in the Silicon Valley. I have a diverse academic background, with experience in Math, Reading and Writing, Mandarin, Statistics, Biology and Chemistry. In addition to my school work, I love playing basketball and listening to music; I'm currently the president of the Club Basketball Team at Cornell. But my real passion lies in teaching and helping others. Last year, I became a Teaching Assistant for the Cornell Prison Education Program, where I taught English 101 at a medium-security prison near Ithaca and fell in love with teaching!
