I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012. I studied Therapeutic Recreation because I love being with, learning from, and helping people with special needs. After graduating and moving to Auburn, Alabama, I started gaining a love for international students. I took an online course in Teaching English as a Second Language and began consulting international students at Auburn University and tutoring all ages of students on my own. I love tutoring because it is so personal. My style is very laid back and student directed. Each session is different because each student is different. My students know that our hour together is a safe place for them. We are friends and there is no pressure to get everything right. I always get to know my students and their specific needs. It is so much fun to interact with people one on one and help them through something that they are struggling with. I love watching my students gain confidence in themselves and begin to believe that they really can accomplish their goals. I am a person who lives life to the fullest and wants to at an even greater level. Our short lives are a gift and I don't want to waste any moment or take anything for granted. I have many goals and dreams and I live each day as it comes. I am passionate about my family and friends. I love my husband more than anyone in this world and we love experiencing life together! I am committed to being a life long learner and giving my life away to others!
