My husband was invited to a local high school to talk to students about the importance of learning Spanish. He took the task to heart and prepared a list of the most important reasons: Improve your job prospects, be more marketable, immerse yourself in another culture, and even find love, because that's how he found me. Now days learning Spanish can seal the deal for that dream job. Spanish is America's second most spoken, and most widely taught non-English language! I can't wait to be your Spanish tutor.
I have a Masters degree in International Relations and Communications from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico where I attended the ITESM and earned a Bachelors degree in International Relations. My professional experience is mainly in the area of logistics, import/export and customs. I would like to begin a new career after 12 years as a stay at home mother. I'm looking for a fulfilling job that allows me to have flexible hours to keep up with my kids.
While raising my children, I've accumulated lots of experience teaching/tutoring Spanish for kids and adults in my free time. Since I am fluent in both English and Spanish you wont have any problem communicating with me and you'll learn proper Spanish with perfect pronunciation and grammar.
I know how much work it is to learn a second language. I've been there and done that. And, because I have first hand experience I know I can help you to understand and speak Spanish better. I make my lessons fun and entertaining and I tailor them to your specifics needs. I can help with introductory Spanish as well as public speaking. Because of my business background, I can tutor Spanish in any professional area you may need help with. I'll work to make you feel comfortable with me as your tutor being a native speaker.
