After graduating in France , I chose to come to the USA to look for opportunities to work in the business world . Before it happened , I was a French teacher for several years with students raging from age 4 to 40 years old . I had a blast . Growing up in the French culture gave me a sense of humor that is reflected in my daily activities and also in m teaching style . Making the learning experience fun and easier for my students .
I also play music as a hobby , the bass guitar is my favorite instrument . I play every Sunday in the Gospel ensemble .

What is your teaching philosophy?
Make it fun, effective, and memorable.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Tell them about my experience coming to America, and how I realized that French and English use a lot of similar words.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By giving him or her great assignments, and keeping them engaged and accountable.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
By reminding them of the fun they will experience while traveling to French-speaking countries, and how they’ll be able to blend in.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Keep the student encouraged and motivated.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
I take my time and break it down to them.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
Make the student comfortable with the subject and my style of teaching.
