Although I have been tutoring on the side since high school and throughout college, my passion for teaching really took off when I entered the professional world of education. That's when I realized tutoring means more than conveying information. It means empowering students to succeed. In addition to the cutting-edge education techniques and strategies I gleaned while working for C2 Education and EF English First in Russia, my professional experience taught me that the best way to boost confidence and motivate students is by establishing track records of success. That is why my tutoring style has always emphasized the personalized approach, making sure every student has a plan to achieve their long term goals. I customize curricula, generate problem sets by need, and break down assignments into manageable chunks to ensure that each student is well on the way to meeting his or her individual goals.
