Certified Tutor

I have been involved in helping students strengthen their love and passion for the sciences while at the same time helping them to better themselves for the better part of my undergraduate career. As an undergraduate I was offered the opportunity to become a teachers assistant for a number of laboratory classes. As a sophomore I began as a teachers assist for general biology, in my junior year I became a teachers assistant for anatomy and physiology while still being a teachers assistant for general biology, and in my senior year I became a teachers assistant for biochemistry while still being a teachers assistant for general biology and anatomy and physiology. In these classes my basic duties included supervising, mentoring and assisting students during a laboratory session, answering any questions and providing guidance both in and out of the lab in order to fully grasp the material. While as an undergraduate I was given the privilege of being recommended by one of my professors to privately tutor a student who was struggling in class. It was through this private tutoring that I realized I truly enjoy helping others succeed. Through tutoring this student it brought me great satisfaction helping this student who struggled with the simplest concepts and topics to being able to comprehend some of the harder topics and concepts with little or no help. Helping students further strengthen their love, passion, and desire to better understand the sciences is something I am truly passionate about and I give nothing but my all in helping students succeed.
