I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Drexel University College of Medicine. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in neuroscience and I am pursuing a residency in internal medicine. Teaching has been a passion of mine for nearly a decade. I have tutored at the high school, college, and medical school level in many math and science subjects and for the SAT, MCAT, and USMLE. I have tutored one on one and in classes of up to 40 people. The greatest joy in teaching for me is watching a student succeed at their goal whether it is getting a good grade in class or passing a dreaded test separating you from your next level of schooling. I focus on motivating and adapting to each individual students strengths and weaknesses. I hope to tailor my skills to suit you in the best way possible. I believe that self-confidence and thorough preparation ensure success with any subject. In graduating from medical school I have been through it all from the pressure of AP tests to studying all night for a college final to wrangling with the MCAT. Find a tailored approach for each student that builds up their weaknesses while complimenting their strengths.

Find a different context in which to view the subject.

Teaching a subject is the ultimate test of mastery.

Show him or her that progress is step-wise, and only from a great distance will you appreciate how far you have come.

Define his or her goals, and allow for self-reflection of strengths and weaknesses.

Find which learning styles suits him or her best, and use that approach.
