What is your teaching philosophy?
Help the learner to relax and feel comfortable in the subject matter, giving enough information and support to allow the smallest steps to begin. Nothing beats a failure, but...a try!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Tell the learner about myself, and explain why I have fun with the subject matter. Ask the learner to tell how he/she has fun. Let him/her know that we will have fun.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I will give enough information to give enough confidence so motivation will be automatic.
