Certified Tutor

I've been a tutor for more than 10 years. I received my Master of Fine Arts degree from Bowling Green State University and Master of Arts degree from Central Michigan University. I received my undergraduate degree in English and History from CMU. For many years, I've taught English, Communication, and Sociology at the college level. I am very active in my community. English is my passion. Currently, I serve as secretary on the board of directors at Raise It Up Youth Arts and Awareness. I also teach a creative writing course at the Boys and Girls Club in Flint, Michigan. In addition, I serve as volunteer Retention Trainer for the American Red Cross Club.

I enjoy working with learners of all ages. As a tutor, I see it as my my responsibility to help my clients strengthen their knowledge bases. Whether it's History or an English literature assignment, I like to work with learners until the assignment is complete and, more importantly, they feel confident in facing the challenges that come with any subject.
