I am an experienced and certified teacher, with over fifteen years of teaching experience, across all disciplines and student populations. My professional experiences, and conscientious attitude have enabled me to foster students' academic potential in various unique lessons, and techniques.
Learning is fostered by creating the appropriate atmosphere.I try to create such an atmosphere, by helping students think out loud, reflect on experiences, identify problems, and develop solutions.I keep current with materials, and educational strategies, all of which help to promote learning in my students.
On a more personal note,not only am I creative in my approach to teaching, I also create jewelry, which I sell on Etsy. I have raised three children, who have grown and flown, and I currently share my home with my two dogs, Murphy and Maggie.
