I earned my bachelors degree from SUNY Binghamton and am currently attending Buffalo State College in pursuit of a masters degree. I have over 20 years experience in teaching, in 4 countries, teaching students in grades K-12 and adult, in classes and one-on-one. I'm very patient and know how to break down concepts and use the style that works best for my students. I have a good sense of humor and can make learning fun. Although I am not a strict, inflexible teacher, I do give students a structure and expectations to follow, and I tell them I do this because I want them to succeed! I love helping my students get to that "Aha!" moment, when that concept they are trying to learn/master "clicks" for them. Outside of academia I enjoy watching movies, horseback writing, and complete crossword puzzles.
