Certified Tutor

I'm a recent graduate from Stanford University, where I earned my diplomas in Theatre and French, with a minor in Creative Writing. I grew up in Orange County, California, and for high school I studied Acting at the Orange County High School of the Arts.
I have been tutoring since beginning my undergraduate career at Stanford University. In my free time, I set up a private tutoring practice in the Palo Alto/ Los Altos/ Redwood City areas. Upon my graduation, I moved back home to Tustin, Orange County. I now work for Elite Academy, a test prep company with international branches, where I instruct classes on SAT Critical Reading and ACT Reading. I also continue my private tutoring practice and, of course, tutor for Varsity Tutors.
I enjoy working with and connecting to my students. My style of tutoring is professional, but still informal and engaging; I want the student to look forward to the sessions we have together. I encourage my students to think of me as a resource, a guide, and a cheerleader. I want them to succeed!
