Certified Tutor

I have master's and bachelor's degrees in music education, teacher certification, and six years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught PK-8 grade vocal and instrumental music in the public school, preschool in a private facility, and English as a Second Language overseas in South Korea. I have completed a 100-hour TESOL Certification Course and a 50-hour TITC English for Young Learners Certification. I have many hours of experience helping non-native English speakers improve their reading, writing, and conversational skills.

I enjoy learning equally as much as I enjoy teaching and tutoring. I have a passion for studying music, language, and history. I recently completed a graduate level course on the history and culture of East Asia through the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia.
