I really love tutoring and sharing my love of learning with other people. I've tutored middle school students for a year and I love it. My students and I usually meet 1-3 times a week and they have all made significant positive changes in test scores and overall understanding of a variety of subjects. I am patient, encouraging, and friendly. I understand that each individual learns differently and I tailor my lessons to each student. My hobbies are exploring downtown Phoenix, playing sports, making art, and listening to music. I have a cocker spaniel named Ranger and a chronic french fry craving, for which the only cure is french fries. My favorite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky and I'm about to begin pursuing degrees in Art and English at Hillsdale College in Michigan. I hope to meet you soon!

What is your teaching philosophy?
The more you learn, the more human you become, and the more human you become, the better you are able to live in community and harmony. I teach so my students will learn the order of the world and how it relates to their humanity. My philosophy is to ask "how?" and then "why?" so that we can better understand the bigger picture. All of this rests upon an understanding of details and the ability to process information in a correct and efficient way, which is where my role lies. I hope to teach my students the methods and small-picture details and show them how it all comes together.
