I have been teaching high school math and SAT test prep since 2002 and GRE prep since 2008.
When I am working with a student, I find it is best to first determine what areas they struggle with. Do they need help with basic concepts? Do they need help, in general, with test-taking? Once I am clear on what areas we need to focus on, we can really start to make progress. I feel that different approaches work with different students. The type of learner a student is will dictate how I can best help them succeed. I enjoy tutoring and interacting with all students whether they are "terrible" at math, or simply need a refresher!
