I am a graduate of the University of Maryland. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus in History. Since graduation, I have begun teaching in the Montgomery County Public School System. I currently teach fifth grade. While I teach all subjects, I am most passionate about History and Math. Next year, I will begin a program at University of Maryland to receive my Masters of Education in Middle School Mathematics. Prior to becoming a teacher, I tutored students of all ages and levels and even traveled to Las Vegas to partner with Teach For America and work with students in underprivileged schools. I have always loved working with children and helping them accomplish goals and further their knowledge. I have dedicated my life to education as I believe that it is the key to a successful life. I always try to make learning fun and innovative, and I try to pass on my love of learning to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, cooking, and traveling.
