Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Concordia University where I received my MEd in Differentiated Instruction. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edwards University. I have been a teacher for over 13 years in the Austin area, for both private and public schools. I have taught pre-kinder through 8th grade, in various subject matters such as Spanish, English as a Second Language and I am currently a dual language elementary teacher for all subjects. My other role is as a STARR Test Prep tutor for my school. I am passionate about helping struggling students find their own potential to be successful in learning any subject. My philosophy is to adapt the work at hand into a learning model of their comfort with fun activities, encouragement and motivation. My goal is to help you succeed as a student and beyond. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, watching college sports or catching a music concert.
