I am currently a junior at Yale University. I am an american studies major with a focus on politics and american communities. In the past I have worked with elementary school children and coordinated an after-school and summer program at a transitional shelter/community center for women and children in Los Angeles. I tutor SAT Critical Reading and subject tests in Literature and U.S. History as well as AP U.S. Government, U.S. History and Spanish. I believe the key to doing well and gaining confidence when taking a test is constant practice and firmly believe that education is a valuable asset in expanding one's worldview. Outside of academics I enjoy reading biographies, film, art, and music.
