Certified Tutor

I received by B.A. from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD where I majored in English Literature with a minor in Secondary Education. I recently passed both Praxis II assessments in order to qualify for teaching certification in Maryland and many other states. My goal is to become a full-time English teacher in either a middle school or high school located in the District of Columbia. I enjoy working one on one with students because I believe it offers a unique opportunity to inspire each student to succeed and rise to his or her academic potential. Sometimes students can get lost in a classroom setting so being able to be a tutor in order to offer students that one on one experience is very exciting and something I am looking forward to. I also play lacrosse for the First Ladies D.C. Lacrosse team, walk many dogs for the people in my building, love to adventure around the District, and strive to travel around the world as much as I possibly can.
