Certified Tutor

I am a native Houstonian and received my MS and PhD in psychology from Virginia State University. I also completed my BS in Biology at Prairie View A&M University. Prior to returning to graduate school I was an elementary teacher, with experience in both fifth and first grade. To keep my teaching skills current I subbed and tutored K-8 while in graduate school. Additionally, I was a college adjunct instructor for Quantitative Methods (a statistics course). I believe that all students have their own unique potential and sometimes extra attention needs to be given to help them reach their goals.
