Certified Tutor

I am studying in San Jose State University and majoring in Aviation. I am working towards an Aviation Operation degree and become an Air Traffic Controller. I have been a tutor for 7-8 years now. Four years in an elementary school and 3-4 years as a private tutor. I tutor students from elementary school to college. I tutor all subjects for elementary and middle school, and Math for high school and college. I love Math the most because I love solving challenging questions and help student to understand different concepts both in school and outside in their life. I love teaching students by explaining the definition in details and help them on what they don't understand other than just helping them to solve the questions and give them the answers.

I love to hike and at the same time I will run many miles. I love hanging out with friends and shop with them. When hanging out with friend, I will also go to watch a movie when I get some free time.

I am an organized person I love to be well prepared before the tutoring session starts. I am hardworking and want to send a message to my student that they should work hard to achieve their goals. I am friendly with both kids and college students. I use different methods with different age groups so that they can learn while at the same time having fun and interested in learning. I refer materials back to real life example so that student can understand the concepts more easily. I received dean's honor in San Jose State University last year that reflects my hard work in my academic study.
