Certified Tutor

I received my education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, earning a Bachelor of Science. My undergraduate major is in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry. I also attained a minor in music performance on the flute. I'm currently in graduate school at Texas A&M University-Victoria pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Science.From my sophomore year at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, I worked as a mentor for the Center for Academic Student Achievement. I had the privilege to mentor and tutor cohorts of incoming freshman that were academically at risk. Working as a mentor and tutor allowed me to assist students from various backgrounds and cultures.My favorite subject to tutor is Algebra. It's straight-forward and concrete. My philosophy of teaching is to provide a fun and encouraging environment.
