I am a born and bred native of the Philadelphia area, and I have both a Bachelors Degree, from Temple University, and Masters degree from Purdue University in Indiana. I am excited by the challenge of preparing for any academic event, but I have a special enthusiasm for preparing students to take the SAT Exam. I strongly believe that SAT preparation can never be a dry, purely intellectual exercise; if you are simply memorizing a list of facts by rote, you are making your test day challenge even harder! In addition to focusing on the intellectual work, I work closely with students to help them find a deeper, personal connection to that information. Also, I believe it is crucial to supplement your studying by working on your studying process itself (because it's important to work smarter as well as harder). Finally, I bring an enthusiasm to meeting the challenge of exam preparation that I hope will act as fuel for the student throughout the tutoring process. In my free time, I enjoy acting, reading any book that has new ideas and watching as much baseball as I possibly can.
