I have an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Adelphi University and a B.S. in English Education from NYU. While attending school, I worked with graduate and undergraduate students on their college writing assignments. Prior to this, I was a 7th grade English teacher working with younger pupils on grammatical structure.

I think it is important for students to have confidence and feel relaxed in their approach to writing. The best way to improve in writing is to consistently practice and understand the importance of the written word.
