About the class

Did you know that animals depend on their neighbors for nearly everything? In this live, interactive class from a savanna habitat at San Diego Zoo, students will learn about the close relationships between animals like elephants, giraffes, and lions; insects like ants and termites; and other living things including plants. Students will get up close and personal with several of these animals, and gain insights from expert wildlife care specialists from the San Diego Zoo, as they learn all about ecosystems, food webs, and the interconnectedness of all wildlife in a habitat.
