Hello! My name is Maggie and I am a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Classical Studies. During my time at university, I was employed at the Kislak Center for Rare Books and Manuscripts and spent extensive time here researching and writing. My research culminated this past year in the publication of my first book, Images of America: Muncy, a history of my hometown. History is my passion and I strive to bring the subject to others in an entertaining way. I believe that our past is just as thrilling and captivating as any fictional film or novel, and I aim to bring this to readers in my work. In addition to writing about history, I enjoy working with museums, libraries, bookstores and other organizations in creating and marketing public events. In all of my areas of work, I hope to make a difference in peoples' lives through education.
