I enjoy helping students to connect with their innate intellectual curiosity. I also enjoy helping them to find the confidence to succeed academically.
Through my own experience of studying a broad range of subjects -including some that didn't come easily to me- I've developed a patient and clear tutoring approach that helps learners achieve concrete results, while feeling supported and appreciated as individuals.
My tutoring specialties include elementary and high school writing, math and standardized test preparation. I have also tutored adults in English and writing.
I hold a B.A. from the University of Chicago, where I was a National Merit Scholarship finalist. I have also completed graduate level coursework at UC Berkeley.
