As a dedicated 5th grade teacher in Indiana, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students across English, Math, and Social Studies. With a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and two Master's degreesone in Early Childhood Education Administration, Management, and Leadership, and the other in Elementary Education K-6, which I will complete in August 2025I am well-equipped to connect with students at various developmental stages. My teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging, relatable learning experiences; for instance, I once helped a student understand decimal alignment by likening it to a Christmas tree, which resonated with her. I have over two years of classroom experience, and I thrive on the challenge of making complex concepts accessible. I also enjoy sharing my passion for social studies, which I believe enriches students' understanding of the world. Beyond the classroom, I cherish my family life and recently explored historical sites in Greece, England, and Ireland with my son, hoping to inspire students to appreciate the world's diverse cultures.
