Creating personal relationships and getting to know each individual student's interests, strengths, challenges and goals results in an atmosphere of trust. Stepping outside the traditional school atmosphere is sometimes necessary. I enjoy when students are comfortable enough with me to sing a song, rap, create visuals or participate in role play in order to study material. I'm interested in which life experiences do they have that are relatable to the material. We learn differently, and my role is to help students hone their tools and become comfortable enough to facilitate their own learning.

Aside from teaching, I enjoy creating music and art in addition to performing whether it be singing, acting out modeling. I'm the last couple of years I have enjoyed learning to garden and raise many house plants.
