I have been teaching 2nd Grade for the past 6 1/2 years and it is truly my dream job! I have a background of tutoring in k-5 literacy as well as math. I teach reading, foundational skills, writing, math, science, and social studies daily. It's hard for me to choose a favorite subject that I enjoy teaching, but I would say literacy and math are at the top of my list. I believe in creating a positive culture, using evidence based practices, and utilizing different teaching methods based on individual student need.
