About Me

I am a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education, with a focus on Educational Diagnostician, from West Texas A/ M University. I have been a Special Education Teacher and hold certification in the state of Texas for grades PK-12. I am presently working in the field as an Educational Diagnostician and have been in education for 27 years. As an Educational Diagnostician, I conduct evaluations for intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, including Dyslexia evaluations and assist in educational programming for multiple disabilities. I am certified in the Dyslexia Learning Academy with the state of Texas. I have experience as a Math and English Inclusion Teacher and also specialize in tutoring math and reading. I am most passionate about helping students with special needs. I look forward to providing specialized instruction designed to meet the unique learning needs of struggling students.
