Hello! I am passionate about helping kids and adults reach their goals and aspirations. I strive to make learning experiences challenging and engaging to the learner. Whether I'm teaching science concepts or helping English language learners, I dedicate myself to providing the support, expertise and guidance on an individual basis. I try to meet the learners where they're at and support pathways to learning and growth. I'm also passionate about supporting learners as an academic coach. I have worked with children and adults to set goals, learning strategies and support systems to ensure continued growth and attainment. I have coached students as they worked through the college experience and I have helped adults succeed in their professions. I am a dedicated professional and I truly believe everyone can experience success with the right support system.

My husband and I live in an off-grid cabin in the middle of a forest reserve. I spent 20 years teaching students about climate change and felt we had to do our part to live a sustainable life. We get to share our environment with deer, turkeys, raccoons and coyotes! We like to go kayaking and hiking. I am a huge rock hound and love being able to look at a rock, mineral or fossil and understand some of the geologic history of the area. We have spectacular night skies and get to enjoys observing the universe through our telescopes. Life is beautiful if you take a moment to let all of its wonders wash over you.
