About Me

I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics from Bellevue University. I am almost done with my masters in Physics from Johns Hopkins. I have been teaching for 5 years now. Most of my experience is high school and college students. My absolute favorite subject is physics. It is my passion, I love learning the math behind how things work, it helps me understand the universe. My teaching methods are different based on the student. My basic focus is to allow my students to be as interactive as possible. I want them to feel free to ask questions and I try to get them to participate as much as possible. I do this by using digital inking, with math it helps to see what is going on, and by asking them a lot of questions and giving practice problems. Outside of academics I love being outside, spending time with my family and playing video games. I believe anyone can succeed at anything with the right amount of effort and determination and it is my personal goal to help each and every student reach all of their goals.
