I am a graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a double major in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics and Anthropology. I am passionate about learning and teaching, and I am looking forward to experiencing both together!

I am currently a medical student in Philadelphia, PA. I earned my Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science and my Master's degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Health Behavior.

I am studying Spanish in Mexico after two years teaching English in Guadeloupe, France to sharpen my foreign language skills and ESL teaching capabilities in preparation for multilingual and multicultural educational spaces. Upon my return to the United States, I will pursue my teaching license in secondary history. Thus, I am passionate about teaching History, English, and French. I also excel at teaching and academic writing. In addition to my experience guiding students in traditional classrooms, I have taught yoga for the past two years. This has involved planning classes for large groups in addition to providing personal assists to students throughout their practice. With my experience teaching others in both the traditional academic classroom and the nontraditional yoga classroom, I have learned there is no better way to assist others in their growth than meeting individuals exactly where they are. As a result, my teaching and tutoring styles are designed to capitalize upon what students already know so that they may build upon said knowledge and achieve more. Further, my teaching and tutoring are based on our humanity as people and thus there is plenty of conversation, inquiry, and room for mistakes. I believe education is an opportunity for creating possibilities, and as such I couldn't be more grateful to help others imagine their future possibilities.

I'm Toni, a college English professor looking to help you better engage with your learning interests! As a professor, my teaching style emphasizes active learning as a central component, aiming to make my classes more centered on students discovering the material and constructing their own knowledge. In teaching and tutoring, I see myself more as a facilitator of learning who provides students the necessary tools and direction for them to uncover the concepts themselves. I am a certified teacher of both math and Chinese. I have taught everything from elementary to high school math, and from beginning to AP Mandarin Chinese. I have been teaching in public schools for more than ten years, so I know what students struggle with and where some of their biggest academic hurdles can be found. I am here to help! I like to break down knowledge and information into easy steps, in order to make it easier for students to solve their problems. By working together on everything from fundamentals to test preparation, you will soon know what to learn and memorize in order to feel prepared, regardless of subject!

I have been a tutor for 9 years, specializing in test prep and admissions tests. I also work with students on admissions essays and general homework help. I come from a suburban town near Houston, Texas, where I attended an international studies high school and gained tutoring experience through working and volunteering. I have worked as an assistant teacher for ESL (English as a Second Language) and volunteered as a tutor in both regular and AP subjects throughout my high school years. I have a BA in International Studies, with a minor in Business Administration and a certificate in Community Based Participatory Research. I am very interested in education, and I have spent lots of time studying different education systems and teaching methods. I believe that every single student has a unique way of learning and processing information, so it is important for them to develop their own studying habits and learning methods. That is why I want to be a tutor - so that I can help students discover their ideal way of learning. I am a determined and dedicated student that wants to help others. I am a social and outgoing person who works well with others, and I will try my best to help students succeed.

I am a certify tutor of mathematics at Varsity Tutors platform, and I am eligible to teach/tutor here the courses such as Algebra1, Algebra2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Pre-algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus-1, 2 and 3, College Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and Middle School Math.

I am a graduate of Brigham Young University where I majored in International Relations and Russian and of Thunderbird School of Global Management where I earned an MBA in International Business. My college and graduate studies include coursework in Writing, Literature, Geography, History, Political Science, Russian, Music, Business, Math, Science, and Art. Because of my experience with many different disciplines, I am able to teach a wide variety of subjects and have experience working with students of all ages from middle school to middle aged. My greatest skill as a tutor is the ability to adapt challenging material to the viewpoint of my students. This allows me to build bridges of understanding that help more analytical people feel at home in creative disciplines or vice versa. If you are a gifted artist struggling with Math, or an aspiring scientist struggling with creative writing, I'm your man! I am also a very experienced writer and editor. In my free time I enjoy hiking, literature, ultimate Frisbee, international travel, soccer, baking, music, strategy games, and philosophical discussions. I have lived in Africa, Western Europe, and Russia and visited over a dozen countries. Please note that due to the many different subjects I have studied, the list of classes above is not complete. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in violin performance at the Juilliard School. I have tutored privately and through Chegg Tutoring, Varsity Tutors, PrepExpert, and iLearn World throughout high school and college, with most of my experience being in standardized test prep and English. The most fulfilling moments that I have with my students are when I see them applying previous lessons and skills to new challenges. I believe that a good teacher not only helps a student tackle specific, formulaic kinds of questions, but also imparts the skills necessary for adapting to the diverse intellectual challenges that life presents. My goal is always for my students to leave their sessions having learned something that will be useful for years to come, not just on the next test that they are preparing for. After all, education is a lifelong process!

Every child one at a time, one step at a time; can develop the skills to read, write, and grow with confidence in their literacy. I graduated from Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While obtaining my undergraduate education, I volunteered with the Family Tree Child Development Center, where I enjoyed reading to the children and working with the teachers. I also volunteered in the Mother Baby Unit, helping the nurses and new moms! Upon completing my Biology degree, I interned at a hospital in the Microbiology lab. My classroom experience includes elementary substitute teaching and being an Instructional Assistant. I've worked with children who are advanced or struggling in small groups to reach academic standards. Following IEPs, and working with teachers, staff and parents to help students achieve goals, have been the most motivating to me.

I am a singer-songwriter and I also help other local artist by leasing my home recording equipment which affords me with ample opportunities to interact with a wide variety of people.
