I followed that up by teaching at a community college in the D.C. area for over a year.After that, I moved from D.C. to the Dallas Fort-Worth area (where I still reside), and took a short break from teaching.But the teaching bug wouldn't go away. So, in 2010, I returned to the academic world, and I obtained a full-time Math Instructor position at Tarrant County College here in DFW, and worked there for 10 years, where I grew both personally and professionally.One of my strengths is my communication skills, and over the years I worked hard to hone many of my explanations, to make them as clear and concise as I think I can.Some of the compliments that I've received from students I taught and tutored is that I'm patient, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic.
