Chenhui (Chelsea): Kissimmee tutor
Certified Tutor
With a diverse academic background spanning law, policy, and sustainability, I bring both rigor and adaptability to my teaching. I completed my undergraduate studies at Tsinghua University, earned a Master of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo.
I have extensive experience supporting students through teaching and tutoring roles, including serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant where I guided over 400 students in quantitative methods and data analytics. These experiences sharpened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and to adapt lessons to individual learning needs.
I tutor Mandarin, Math, and GRE Quantitative. Math and GRE Quant are my favorite subjects to teach because I enjoy helping students develop logical problem-solving strategies and gain confidence through practice. Mandarin tutoring is equally rewarding as I guide learners in building both linguistic skills and cultural understanding.
My teaching style emphasizes clarity, patience, and step-by-step learning. I strive to make lessons interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of academics, I enjoy cultural exploration, data visualization projects, and mindfulness practices.
