Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals because I know firsthand how much a strong foundation in learning can open doors for the future. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and tools.

My experience working with students has been both broad and rewarding. I have worked as Chief Medical Scribe at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where I trained and managed over 30 new team members, teaching them how to succeed in a high-pressure, detail-oriented environment. I also have research experience in biomedical sciences, where I helped train colleagues and worked collaboratively on complex projects. Through these roles, I've developed a patient, adaptable, and supportive teaching style.

I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biomedical Sciences, with a strong focus on biology, genetics, physiology, and pathophysiology. I enjoy tutoring across the sciences, especially biology and physiology, because these subjects help students understand the world around them and prepare them for careers in health, research, or other STEM fields. My favorite subject to tutor is biology because it is both fundamental and fascinating and connects everything from the smallest cells to the largest ecosystems.

My tutoring philosophy is simple: meet students where they are, build their confidence step by step, and help them not only memorize facts but also truly understand concepts. I like to use examples, analogies, and interactive problem-solving to make difficult material feel approachable and even enjoyable.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing bass guitar, running, and spending time outdoors. These interests keep me balanced and help me bring creativity and energy into my teaching.
