I am a recently Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with a Bachelor's in Journalism and Media who has worked in Public Radio and as a nanny for many years. I have a passion for inspiring curiosity in students such that they become leaders of their own learning and are guided through critical thinking practices to become autonomous learners. I have a passion for writing, editing and Spanish language learning. I connect to my students by being honest about being a student of life myself and look for ways to build them up as young people by demonstrating a mutual respect.
