As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Molecular Genetics from Washington University, Saint Louis and Bachelor's of Science in Genetics from Iowa State University, I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of the life sciences in my students. I have worked one-on-one with undergraduate students in a research lab to teach them the details of biological phenomenon and how to conduct quality scientific research. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore complex concepts. My teaching philosophy centers on connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, ensuring that students not only learn but also appreciate the relevance of their studies. I am motivated by the success of my students and find joy in guiding them through their academic journeys.
