I love working with students at every stage of learning, from children to adults building new skills. My favorite part of tutoring is watching a student's confidence grow as complex ideas begin to click. I especially enjoy teaching math, science, nutrition, business, epidemiology, and English as a foreign language, because these subjects not only strengthen knowledge but also open doors to new opportunities and ways of thinking.
My background includes a doctorate in Nutrition at Harvard to a master's in Public Health at Yale and an MBA in Strategic Leadership. Along the way, I have taught at the university level, worked as a substitute teacher in K12 classrooms, and mentored students and colleagues in one-on-one settings. These experiences have shown me that every learner can succeed when given the right tools, support, and encouragement.
My teaching style is student-centered and adaptive. I meet students where they are, break down big ideas into clear, manageable steps, and celebrate progress at every stage. I aim to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students see learning as a lifelong skill that reaches far beyond the classroom. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active through swimming, biking, and running, and I also love cooking and exploring the connection between food and health. These passions fuel my energy, creativity, and enthusiasm, which I bring into every session to help students feel inspired and capable of achieving their goals.
