As a dedicated artist/author/veteran/ educator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I bring over 2 years of experience in tutoring drawing. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of mastering artistic fundamentals, fostering a supportive environment where students feel empowered to express their creativity and develop their unique voices. I draw on my extensive classroom experience to connect with students effectively, guiding them through the learning process with patience and enthusiasm. Inspired by the 10,000-hour rule, I encourage consistent practice to enhance their skills. Witnessing my students evolve in their artistic journeys is the driving force behind my passion for tutoring, making each lesson a fulfilling experience for both of us.
