Hello! My name is Christian, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed in Earth Science and related STEM subjects as well as American History (AP). I have completed my bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences with a concentration in Geophysics at Michigan State University, where I gained hands-on experience in fieldwork, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving.
Through my academic journey and professional experiences including field surveying, environmental site analysis, and geotechnical investigations; I've developed a strong foundation in geology, physics, and math. Just as importantly, I've learned how to explain complex concepts in clear, simple terms that make sense to students at any level.
As a tutor, I focus on building confidence as well as knowledge. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to spark curiosity and make learning engaging. I'm patient, approachable, and adaptable to different learning styles, and I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and support.

Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active and creative. I love exploring the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, traveling to new places, or filming nature and adventure videos. I love exercise whether that’s lifting, running, or biking. I also spend time editing films and writing, which lets me bring storytelling into my life outside of science. In college, I was a student-athlete and played football, so teamwork and perseverance are important values to me. Overall, I enjoy combining my curiosity for the natural world with my creative side, and I bring that same energy and balance into tutoring.
