Certified Tutor

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in computer science and instructional design. I have taught programming, web development, and technology courses to high school students with a wide range of prior experiences, from those just learning file management to those already familiar with programming. My goal as a tutor is always to meet students where they are, helping them build confidence step by step while pushing them to challenge themselves.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, an MBA, and I am completing my Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Instructional Design and Technology. Beyond the classroom, I've worked as a small business consultant, a web developer, and a trainer, so I bring real-world experience that connects academic concepts to practical applications.

I believe learning works best when it's personalized and engaging. My approach combines patience, encouragement, and clear explanations that adapt to each learner's needs. Whether I'm introducing a beginner to the basics of coding or helping an advanced student refine their skills, I focus on building understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence that lasts long after the tutoring session.
