As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in PreK-4 Grade Education from Duquesne University, I am dedicated to fostering both academic success and confidence in my students. With over 4 years of experience teaching first and second grade, I specialize in elementary school math, reading, writing, and phonics. My teaching philosophy centers on engagement and adaptability; I employ an "I do, we do, you do" approach that encourages students to participate actively in their learning process. I find immense joy in helping students discover their strengths, especially in math, where my students have consistently exceeded growth expectations. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring educational resources and strategies, ensuring that I provide a supportive and dynamic learning environment for all my students.
