I am a dedicated music educator with over 30 years of experience, specializing in AP Music Theory and instrumental instruction. Holding a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Master's in Arts in Medicine from the University of Florida, I have taught students from pre-K through college, focusing primarily on middle and high school students.

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a deep understanding of music, encouraging students to explore not just how to play, but why they play and the emotions behind their music. I believe in adapting my methods to each student's unique learning style, using patience and tailored strategies to ensure they grasp complex concepts. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can thrive, express themselves, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
