Certified Tutor

I am an alum of Hood College and I graduated with two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in literature. In addition, I completed a minor in theatre. As a recent college graduate, I have had first-hand exposure to the current teaching methods and subjects that students are expected to learn/acquire/master. I am enthusiastic about both STEM and the humanities, for both of these subjects are crucial for human advancement and enjoyment of life. My achievement in both disciplines gave me the opportunity to tutor fellow students who struggled with unfamiliar topics. I believe that education should be collaborative, enjoyable, and eye-opening. With empathy and eagerness, learning can be accessible to everyone. Outside of academics, I spend my time reading, acting on stage, and baking. My favorite dessert to bake is lemon poppy seed cake.
