I am a doctoral student at Arizona State University pursuing my PhD in Social Work, with a strong passion for teaching statistics and programming. My educational background includes a master's in social work and graduate certificate in advanced social research (Boston College) and a bachelor's in mathematics and psychology (Michigan Technological University). I have been recognized with the Mathematics Woman of Promise award (2022), taught bachelor's level statistics, and led various statistics, math, and multi-day programming workshops for doctoral students. I have over five years of tutoring experience, I specialize in subjects such as algebra, calculus, and statistics.

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging environment, where I draw from my own struggles with math to help students reframe their challenges as exciting puzzles.
