I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a double major in Cognitive Science and Sociology. I bring over two years of experience tutoring students from kindergarten through 6th grade. While I tutored a broad range of subjects during my time there, I am most passionate about elementary and middle school math, including pre-algebra, algebra, and introductory geometry (concepts like ratios, percentages, and the Pythagorean theorem). My passion for teaching stems from a deep-rooted enjoyment of problem-solving and a desire to help students overcome their academic challenges. I believe in tailoring my approach to each student's learning style, utilizing visual aids and hands-on practice to foster understanding.

My experience has taught me the importance of patience and clear communication, ensuring that students not only grasp concepts but also gain confidence in their abilities. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working on math puzzles, which keeps my skills sharp and my enthusiasm for the subject alive. I am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
