As a certified educator with a Master's in Music Education from CUNY Lehman College and over 5 years of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning in my students. My expertise encompasses Adult Literacy, ESL/ELL, and English language arts, alongside a deep passion for music, particularly jazz and its cultural significance. I believe in a student-centered approach that adapts to individual learning styles, utilizing engaging activities and culturally relevant materials to connect literature and language to students' lives.
My background as a band director and literacy coach allows me to create a dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and explore their interests.
