Hi! My name is Xuehan(pronounced Swan). My studies in Environmental Management deepened my understanding of today's pressing environmental issues, while my experiences abroadthrough exchange programs and fieldwork in Africahelped me develop a global perspective on their causes and impacts.
I've worked as a science educator with children from Pre-K to Grade 11, and I also have experience tutoring newly arrived immigrants in English and French. Being fluent in French, English, and Mandarinand having a basic knowledge of Spanishhas allowed me to connect with a wide range of learners and adapt my teaching style to suit different ages, backgrounds, and learning needs. I enjoy using interactive methods like games and hands-on activities to make learning fun and meaningful.
I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. I've also volunteered as a mentor for young girls in STEM, reflecting my commitment to supporting and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
